My pull

I finally found a video of me pulling in the 18,500 class. I'm pulling in 5th low, this was the only time the front end got light and that's cuz I dropped the clutch. I figured the front end was always too heavy so I removed it and now pull in the 12,000 class. And no Ed this is before I put the 300s on it. Actually I got a second and 2-third places in this class. Another reason I got out of this class, I was pulling against a 1,000 ci 6030 (cheater :)).

Nice pull. Didn't even get in the motor much. You should be proud of that pull.

That pull was at Elk river, Mn. during the county fair. When in 5th I never power out but I never place either, when I pull in 2nd or 3rd high then I might place but then it powers out. Wild Rose pulls there twice a year, FFA pull also.

Hey ED, you are correct about the smoke, Id say almost half as much. You were also right about the head gasket, first or second pull she started gurgling at me. I pulled one more time with it like that and when I removed the head some of the fire rings between the cylinders were melted into blobs. It kinda looked like a little might have gone through engine. Just so you know that turbo sits about 3/8" higher had to put a spacer under elbow. Thanks again.

Hopefully I have my 190 running again next year and I'll try and bring it up. I've always heard that elk river has a really good pull. How far is elk river from Cambridge?

Take bad we don't have a semi Dave! 1.5-2hr drive for me then. Not bad. Last year was 9500 and 11,000. But I'm gonna try and drop to 7500 and 9500 for this season.

Ive never seen a class that allows duels. I always love that woof of smoke after letting off the throttle. Looks like lots of power. Good job.
