Does anyone have a design for making a spanner wrench for removing the end nut from the cylinders of a 715 b backhoe?
These are the lifts that need some new guts- the ends have three notches-
Can weld something up but wondering if someone has perfected a design and would like to share...

I used a 36" pipe wrench .
My lift cylinders have been no problem but the hoe cylinders I have had to replace one piston and one of the end seal glands. The gland or part under that locking ring i got from Minnpar but the piston i made out of aluminum to match the cast iron one that had worn and chipped area.

Cast Iron cap with internal threads , locks the gland into cylinder , is just a end-cap and has no other purpose . Needs to be tight to hold the gland but does not seal or hold pressure or act on shaft .
