Was looking up some ships and noticed the 2cycle diesel used in some ships and subs.
Now a little different type as one cylinder and 2 pistons in it along with two cranks, geared to each other. |

The Jumo two cycle diesel aircraft engine from 1930s (Germany). Jumo would later build some of the first jet engines. |

little town by our farm of Owensville MO had a power plant of their own and are currently dismantling it, it had three large diesels two of which were FM engines, they put the gas axe to them as no one would buy them complete and worth more as scrap steel.
