I found a allis chalmers flail type stalk chopper the model number on the tag says c144sd, and the serial number is 50506, I cant seem to find any info on it it is in great shape but need new flail knives just wondering if anyone knows where to get parts or any history on the shredder thanks for any help

If you find out where to get parts let me know as I have one with a split gearbox and some chipped teeth in the box.

I have one in pretty rough shape, but the gear box is good, and it could be usable with some welding and parts fabrication.  I'd sell it for about $400.
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

Awhile back i guy posted  a business  with several locations that has many applications of gearboxes .. i just cant remember the name ..
