I'm looking for a used radiator for my H3. Will a D14 or D15 radiator fit it?
It has the 149 engine.
Thanks,
Brad

Sorry, but I don't know. Haven't had to replace mine. the engines are the same. The hoods, one is shorter probabaly due to the heavier radiator shroud on the H3. Take some measurements and compare.

I figured I would post my results for the archives. I bought a new radiator for a D-15. The shroud was 1 1/4" to long. I used a cutoff wheel on a side grinder to trim it. The over flow tube protrudes straight out form the radiator neck on the new one instead of tilting downward . It will have to be trimed or bent down slightly to keep it from hitting the H3 heavy duty radiator cover. All the mounting brackets matched. I can post pics if needed.

Thanks Brad. To many times problems were asked here and solved but without letting anybody know the solution. I'll keep that in mind if I ever need one, although mine is in pretty good shape.
Something tells me that the hood on a H3 is 1" or so shorter than a D15.

I know this is an older post but if your still around I'd really appreciate some more information on how this worked out for you. I've been thinking of doing the same but from what I can tell my radiator cover is 16 1/2" wide and the D15 radiators appear to be listed at 18" wide, at least on the website I was looking at. Thanks

Didn't someone recently advertise a Radiator for a D-14 with Shuttle Clutch.

Does a Shuttle Clutch have Cooling Lines to the Radiator ?

the H3 that I had, was set up with the external oil cooler mounted in front of the radiator so there is no need to worry about the oil cooler lines. The shroud is another story, like was mentioned above to long and has to be cut off.

Thanks for the reply. This H3 also has the external oil cooler. The main thing I am worried about is the width of the radiator, as in between the two mounting rubbers on each side of the rad grill. By shroud you mean the part that extends toward the fan? Do you remember who you bought your radiator from?

My mistake. After remeasuring the grill it is 18 1/2" wide, not 16 1/2", apparently I don't know how to use a measuring tape. So I'll be getting a new D15 radiator from superior cooling system. Will post pictures after I get it fitted.
