good luck been there the paint shops take a reading or scan --when all done it says it has lead in it then the substuting starts my 2 c ents was from a computerised paint shop also just pic some schoolbus or cat yellow saves a lot of time

Norm, Thanks for the comment. I just restored a model C Tractor and the shades of orange were all over the place and no one could agree on the proper paint. I may go with Cat yellow. Regards, Lynn S.

There was three shades of orange used at specific years. The yellows are something different though. Chose what looks good to you. You won't be wrong cause nobody knows what's right.

I used ace hardware cat yellow rust preventer.they have in qt/gal cans & spray can.
My I 40 had three differ yellows & it covered over old paint.

have you tried simple tractors, they have ppg codes for the yellows. Any dealer can whip it up.
