One of the things I am going to try this year is a camera system on the baler to keep from having to sit twisted in the tractor. Not sure it will be a success, but I think it is worth a try.

This one is easy for me.
1) 20x30 and 20x20 carports to get equipment out of the elements. 2) A 6-8' disc, preferably with notched front discs and disc scrapers. Caught a t-post with the 8' Brinly I made from 2 cat 0 discs and broke a gang leg. 3) A 6' tiller. Neighbor let's me borrow his, but all his equipment goes to his son next door when part of the land goes and it's now been surveyed. He does not prioritize the same things as his father and myself. I attempted to open negotiations to rent an acre or 2 for production, but he would rather get reamed by the grain farmer that's been renting other parts of his folks land. 4) Either find a reasonably priced 6-8' wide cultipacker to pull behind the grain drill, or continue with my plans to build one out of 2 old 100 propane tanks. |

I mostly need to put up an equipment shed to get a roof over everything.
Otherwise... a Snap Coupler subsoiler? Maybe a Snap Coupler Oxnard coil shank cultivator? An early-ish B?

I would like a late 190xt/200 for hay making. Or maybe a 170-185. But in reality, I should be looking for a newer tractor with a cab and AC. Missed a chance at a Massey this fall. It sold too fast.

For 2026, had ‘plans’ to try and finish numerous house projects that are started, but not completed. Will be a challenge tho, got news yesterday afternoon Mom suffered a catastrophic stroke. We will consult with Doctor sometime tomorrow, no chance of her regaining consciousness, just wanting get hold of some kind of paperwork as to her last wishes, that are hopefully with the Trust papers, for some unknown reason Mom established the local Bank to be the Trustee. So I imagine later this coming week will be a road trip north, stay a week or so, to assist siblings, close up her house till spring. Undoubtedly a few trips forth and back will be our 2026.

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.
