America was coldly attacked by what at the time seemed not to be an enemy, how quickly we as a nation seem to forget, we for sure haven’t learned from our mistakes.
God and America continue to bless those who died that December morning, simply going about their day, and all those who have been called to do the same since that awful tragedy.

God Bless all who served and made the ultimate sacrifice to keep the US free.
I grew up knowing a man who spent all day Dec.7 floating in Pearl Harbor hoping to live.
My Dad used to say the poor fellow was never the same after that, although he spent his whole working life in the Navy.

Prayer in church today for Pearl Harbor Remembrance.  Kind of surprised, the Evangelical Lutheran Church seldom makes mention of some secular events.  Surprised and thankful that we remembered.
