What years did Allis put the radiator shutters on,,"B"s, WC's, WD's, WD45's?,,and it looks to me like they stopped with the "D" series tractors in the late 50's?,,,,haven't seen any on "D"s ,,
Thanks in advance!

My 1951 CA #669 has them along with a thermostat. I don't know why you would need both.

Wasn't there a dual fuel (kerosene, gas) WD45? I would think that would be the only reason to have the shutters.

51B still had shutters and temp gauge, no thermostat.  Only reason I can think of was that using dirty water in some regions was hard on thermostats.  Seems like a thermostat would be cheaper than shutters by that day.

Who has an early B before #43301, they should have canvas instead of shutters.

Lonnie, I have B#254 but no canvas, dang it musta wore out. LOL My B has had a donor engine from a 39 and has had a temp gauge at one time. I was under the impression that there should not be a hole in the hood for a gauge.
