i need to change the torque coverter, transmission clutches oil. allis chalmers track loader 7G. the factory says transmission fluid type c-1 or api ms, we have been using hydraulic oil, that is what the man i bought it from was using i do not use this loader very much but would like to get the correct fluid installed. so confused as to what we need. most oils and hydraulic fluid does not have any type or api listed on the labels. any body got any idea what i shoud use

You can use SAE OIL

If C1 fluid is specified SAE 10W gear oil is the alternative as per Allis Chalmers specification.
