I have a real need for a home made spray to keep those Danged ticks  off your person,,,!!! I got a recipe last year off the internet that you could spray on your shoes and pants and would keep em off.
Three weeks ago, I had two ticks on me that were carrying one of the ailments that cause you to not be able to eat any meat from hoofed animals,,beef, pork,, any dairy products etc,,etc. Chicken or turkey or veggies are OK ,,tho. This causes welts that come out the skin and resemble small pimples that burn and hurt something terrible,,!!  They "mature" and finally go away after about a week but leave a scar. During all this they will hurt and itch like Crazy and require the stronger RX type of cream to control the itching and pain,,!!!
I ffinally had to go see my PCP for help as was affecting my sleep with the terrible itching. Dr told me they were seeing lOTZ of patients with this malady in NWA,,so be aware of them ticks.
Does anyone have a recipe for such a spray???  Thanks in advance.

I use about 20 drops of lemongrass oil and 20 drops of eucalyptus oil mixed with about 6 to 8 ounces of water in a small spray bottle when I'm mowing. Seems to work good!
