CA First Use - Lost Oil Pump Prime

   It's held prime for a year then lost it overnight following first use.  Found a disturbing flake of probably old gasket material in the line feeding the filter. I assume particles caused the check ball to stick...is that plausible?  It primed easily.   I guess I'll do an oil change.
