When it’s around midnight and you go downstairs only to find out that the shower drain is plugged up tight. You’ve got to get that unclogged without waking up your girls. It’s got to be made to work because the softener is about ready to run and my daughter takes her shower in the morning before she goes to her teaching job.

@ 1:50, Got her done. now to clean up the mess.

What’s your bad day?

When the temp gets above freezing and I find water running out of my well house because the heat lamp blew. County water gets expensive when 230,000 chickens are thirsty

Dump a cup of sulfuric acid down the drain about every other month and let it set about 15 minutes before rinsing clear. Pour it in slowly and if a clog, do not allow it to dwell onto any surfaces if possible to avoid any staining.

Sulfuric acid is one of the main components in drain cleaner. Straight from a container it is much stronger than concoctions marketed for the purpose like "Drano" as instance. Hair, grease, and soap melt away easily but don't splash it, nor get onto your skin. Won't hurt you but can burn.

No drama, just reality.

they need to do it more often then !Cry

either that go  muck out the cow barn or clean the septic tank..LOL

There's a silly long plastic  barbed 'tyrap' I bought from China... does aGREAT job of snagging hair in sink drains. Buy 3 different colored ones and pose a competition, winner gets  of the list. now remaining 2 have to battle...
