I have resurrected my WD puller from 7 years ago when the pulls in our area got pissed at me for beating the Ms the Oliver 88s and most others in the 3500 and 4500 lbs class .. I beat 36 tractors in the 4500 the last time I pulled it not bragging at all just truth , I have an engine out of an SP 100 combine with block decked 80 thousand WD pistons Carb work and manifold work played with governor not much else .. this winters project a CA puller I have 2 of them in case I need parts both wide fronts I’m glad I found this site you guys know your Allis stuff 👍 when I learn how to post pics I will

What is the lightest weight class in your area? Get rid of the wide front and run your CA in a 2500 class with at least a 5 MPH speed limit and no on will be able to touch you. I know this for a fact because I'm the reason most places around me no longer have a 2500 class. The club close to me upped the weight to 2600 many years ago, with that the 66s couldn't beat me, then they added 100 pounds scale tolerance. That didn't help the 66s much so they imposed a 3MPH limit. I could run even 2nd gear to stay that slow, I'd been running 3rd, so I found a more tolerant club and the local club has all but folded.
Now I pull the light classes with a turbocharged D10.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
