Recently I was updating our old 5020. I was searching on this site for some answers and while I found a few, many went unanswered. One thing i searched for was info on the headlights. I thought it would be simple to replace them. I found out that's not correct. It would essentially require a new mounting panel to be made and then mounting different headlights.

I decided to try a couple tings. I developed a 3 part solution. I don't really drive this thing after dark, and frankly I don't have the power hooked up to it yet. I developed a 3D printed insert that fits inside the stock housing on the tractor. I printed this out of PETG plastic so it's rigid. I desinged this flange to have 3 retaining scews. Currently they are M3 screws. That's what I happened to have, and it's fitting for the hodge-podge of American and metric components on this thing. I then 3d printed a lens retainer, and cut a lens out of 1/4" lexan that fits within the retainer.

I just thought I'd share in case it gave anyone ideas. I don't see many photos of tractors that still have their lenses.
