Did AC ever offer their 301 or 426 engines to run entirely on NG(natural gas)? Maybe as an industrial engine?
Cummins offers NG on their truck Diesel engines. Here’s a video of a stationary 5.9L NG setup.

I don't know about the ACs, but I would doubt it.  Some school buses around here have stickers saying "powered by clean natural gas", so I figured there would have to be a conversion kit to existing diesel engines.

301 was used on irrigation pumps and generators.                    MACK
