going to go look at a tractor for parts 190 xt with a g2800 lp  so i do not know any thing about the enginge but it looks like a lot higher compression  (on tractor data) mostly interested in the engine for a puller other parts on the tractor have been robbed   what is the crankshaft nut size so i can take a wrench with to turn the engine over

They were fine but I'm sure suffered the same problem the regular gas models did.......the piston top could break off and the skirt was left going up and down in the sleeve. I don't believe there are any piston/sleeve kits available anymore for gas and surely not LPgas. If you want high compression for a puller, use diesel pistons and just mill open the bowl some more and get 12 or 13 to 1 compression. LPgas is only 9.3 to 1,  I think.

I might have a set if 4.1/8 forged pistons for it. Have a block bored for 226 AC sleeves.                 Call 660 663 9173.                      MACK

I think that I know were there is a set of piston and sleeves for that engine.

could this engine go in place of the engine in a wd45d or d 17d or d19 and use  as a farm tractor .      4 1/8 pistons and sleeves what c.i. does that come up to?      might have to start a new post in the pulling section

I had one. 265ci. Did not like it. Traded for 190XTD ,lots of power ran 9 years, lost hearing. Traded for 7000. big improvement.

A 265 cube engine was the G-2500 used in the 180 and 190, not a 190XT gas. Was only 75 HP on the 190.
