I bought this tractor new as a 13 year old kid mowing lawns.  I am going to refresh the motor and it needs the seat redone and a new muffler.  Where can a guy find a muffler that fits like the original and where can I get the seat redone?

Also, I acquired an electric lift for this tractor, does anyone have a wiring schematic?

Thanks. Michael

Mike,
Just go on the internet and plug in 712S wiring schematic. It'll probably pop right up. The schematic I'm talkin' about. LOL! Might be able to get the correct Muff at SLI. Give Brenda a call. If it has a Breaks & Scrapem' in it, its probably the short fat muff. If it has Kohler in it, the 700 series usually has that crazy mounted muffler with the pipe that goes out the hood.....

OK, one down, I got a wiring diagram.  Now if anyone knows where to find the muffler for the 712 S tractor with the Kohler engine that would be great.  I'll check with Sandy Lake tomorrow. Yes mine is the crazy muffler with the pipe directed to the hole in the hood.

I needed a muffler for my716H Allis with a Kohler.  Very hard to find, it seems. Finally bought one from a forum member that has a small hole in it, but mine had completely fallen apart, with no hope of any rewelding/brazing as thin as the pieces were.
