Allis folks,
I installed the break shoes around the new drums. Found it was easier to pull them through with a wire. Looks like that will work nice. One of my pet peeves is poor or non functioning brakes. That was from driving several tractors as a kid which did not have brakes.
Regards,
Chris and Cheryl

It's not like most folks are turn braking every 30 seconds like they might have back when these tractors had cultivators on them, so those brakes should last a very long time. I agree not having brakes is no fun. It is almost always a pain to redo them but I feel it's worth the hassle. You will have a complete tractor again soon!

Steve, guys,
Summer is finally here! Mowing yard and dodging rain. Not good weather for farmers to get hay made.
We have several car events per week to attend. I have to look at the cooling system in the Comet. It was running hot last Monday on the way home. Would like to take the 32 but its very hard for Cheryl to get in and out of it. Heck its hard for me to get in and out of it!
Not much happening on the old Allis CA project.
Hope things are good in Orange Land!

Regards,
 Chris and Cheryl

A lot of our cruise nights got rained out already. Great start. Hope it isn't like two summers back where all it did was rain, and the Mosquitoes carried you away!  Agh!  I hate that. They also just installed gas lines in the streets around us and the streets are a mess. Jo Jo doesn't even want to take the T-bird out for a cruise. That's fine with me. I'll be the one cleaning the tar off of it!
