Just saw that Dallas Texas got 15 inches of rain last night... Quite a few areas got over 10 inches... Worst flooding in 1000 years.... Hope you guys are OK.. Looks like the storm is heading east from Texas.. La , Miss , Alabama.

Carlsbad Caverns got dumped on also. Midland area has gotten about 3” overall, some locals more so. Up until the last few days, there was a grand total of 3” of rain since last August.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Mainly the city center and south of down town. Got a little over an inch 25 miles north.
Plants and trees are much happier, ants not so much. Turn around, don't drown. 
The highways/interstate roads filled in all the usual low spots. I'm sure most of the road debris rolled right to the drains and plugged...
