Hello everyone, I have a 7045 with a PTO issue. I’m looking for a little bit of guidance please. When I engage the lever for the PTO it turns on but the lever will not stay forward or engaged. I am wondering if it is a cable issue or something else that needs to be cleanEd and or adjusted? If I hold the lever forward it stays engaged. Any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated thank you!
Same tractor, when going down a hill it slips out of high range on the consul is that a cable adjustment issue or a worn out transmission issue? If anybody knows. Oh one more important thing it is a Power Director. That would be important to know.

First thing to do is screw a gauge in test ports on PTO clutch housing on back of tractor. If low, check stand by pressure.                     MACK
