My place is roughly 1/2 way between Tom & Shameless ( North of I-80 between Avoca & Walnut, IA. exits). Saturday pm tried mowing grass around trees n bldgs. Got about 1/4 done had sprinkled a bit earlier, stopped put another 2.5 gal gas in tank, started mowing then it thundered & rained enough to make cutting hard and soaked thru my shirt & cap, but not enough for dirt to stick to boots in disced dirt. What my grandfathers called " rained a shirtfull". But about the biggest rain there this spring, is still dry.
