Fiat engine.  Is later model with front crank support. 6080 not 6060.
433i
Part #74008088

Ours is cracked in four places and shop cannot get to repair of head for three months.
Anybody have anything or a lead on one?

Worst case, does anyone have a known quantity complete engine?

Why does it have FIAT stamped on it and why do the shops always shy away from it and ask, "Is it one of those FIATs?"

The engine doesn't have FIAT written on it anywhere. The bellhousing thru the whole rear end is FIAT and probably does.  The tag that you got the 433-I and 74008088 information from says ALLIS-CHALMERS right on it.  The engine is essentially the same in the 6060-6070-6080 tractors.

The head off an F2-F3 Gleaner would be the same I think since it's the "same" engine (433). Call bone yard. K2 used it also but wasn't aftercooled.
