Gee wizz time is flying ! Allis Gleaner Company turns 30 years old,  Ratliff sure was smart to get this company from Deutz Allis, I feel  -if only that plane hadnt of crashed ORANGE tractors and equipment would still be rolling out maybe even saying Allis Gleaner on them , i highly doubt that but - if only

Time flies!  I keep hoping that some day the orange tractors will make a comeback.  They may just be electric powered just like 60 years ago.

Yes Doug, that darn plane crash was the nail in the coffin for the orange tractors coming back.  It was so unfortunate that had to happen.  Ratcliff was a really good guy too.  I wrote AGCO several times  and a few times I received signed personal letters from him.  He really cared about his customers, especially the long time A-C ones.  I still read them from time to time and wonder.  What if..........

May they all rest in peace as it's up to us to keep Allis-Chalmers hard at work and on the job by saving as many of them as we can.
