I recently bought a D-17 at an auction sale. I also bought the old trip loader for it (for $15). I'm thinking I would like to get an AC loader with the front mounted hydraulic pump. Which model loader fits the early D-17? Does anyone (preferably close to northern NY State) have one for sale?

When I was looking at the tractor, a friend of mine told me he had started it and it kept quitting. When they sold it, they started it and it ran ok for a few seconds. I bought the tractor and it kept quitting while I was loading and unloading it.

When I got it home, I drained the gas out of it and opened the sediment bowl up. It had no screen in the sediment bowl, but an inline filter had been put in the gas line.
The picture below shows what I found. I can't believe it ran at all !
