To Our Supporters, Friends, and Family Who Support the Golat Implement Days Tractor and Implement Show;

   Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the uncertainty of the 2020 summer activities being in full force by the first full weekend of August, the Golat Implement Days Tractor and Implement Show has been canceled and rescheduled for August 7 & 8, 2021. Chet Golat, one of the late Ed Golat’s sons and the host of Golat Implement Days Tractor and Implement Show along with Randy Larson, one of the show coordinators, made a challenging decision. We felt we could not proceed with 2020 plans based on the ever-changing Covid-19 situation, an uncertain future, the slow ag economy, and guests’ personal finances that may have been strained during these challenging times. We wish we all could see into the future to make this rational decision more comforting.
Chet stated, “We hate to make such a decision due that everyone has a lot of fun getting together with area friends and family.” There is much work which goes into the show’s pre-planning, funding which goes into the show’s operation, an uncertain future, and with the possibility of economic impact shortfalls due to the shutdown; a low attendance could happen due to expense.

    We understand the importance of Rusk County's only tractor and field demonstration show — not only for tractor and implement collectors, but also for the community, spectator guests, food vendors, and our flea market vendors is of utmost importance. This is uncharted territory for all of us and we need to keep our heads about us as we are trying to plan to do the right things for us all. This all begins with keeping everyone informed and practicing safe social distancing regarding the COVID-19.

   On the bright side, this gives the planning committee an opportunity, with ample time and more discussion, to accomplish more planning time for more activities next year. Our planning committee is committed to building more exciting plans which we already had in place for this year’s show. Set an appointment into your computer’s calendar as you need to plan to attend the 4th Annual Golat Implement Days Tractor and Implement Show, August 7 & 8, 2021, being held 3 miles south of Ladysmith, WI.

    For any questions or concerns, feel free to call Chet or Deb Golat at (715) 532- 6623 or drop them an email at paintballbcd@webtv.net .

Stay well and please take care of yourself,

Randy Larson
