Bought a new John Deere (i know) Z 920M mower. I hope i like it, I always mowed with a tractor type until now. It's commercial grade and this thing is massive. 60" 7 gauge mower deck, full suspension seat, 25 HP Kawasaki, it weighs almost 1300 lbs when loaded with 11 gallons of gas. Maybe overkill I don't know, I'll find out in a week or so when the lawn needs mowing. If it sucks you might see it in the classifieds.LOL

Have had a 60" Swisher now for 6 years 27 HP Briggs - replaced spindle bearings is the biggest problem - seems they are a light bearing is the biggest thing I see wrong with them . Bought it as a return with 5 hours on it , they had a deal with $300 off If you took out their credit card . so with 2 discounts was a good price .
just picked up another one used that has bad deck bearings so will fix that and resell .

Just checked the hours on the Toro Z (named El Toro)  It is 20 years old and had 1500 and  a few hours on it before last use.

Tractors have a place in life, but not on my lawn grass.

I have a 54" Raptor commercial grade mower wished I had bought one instead of my Cub when I moved home.  I will never be without a Zturn again.  Use the cub for moving small stuff when I don't feel like getting on the tractor.
