Guys,
Welcome back to the shop. We now have a care giver for Cheryl. She comes 6 days a week from 11:30 to 4:30. It has changed both our lives. I now have a few hours to do some things that need done outside. Cheryl doesn't move and get out as much so we have not spent much time in the shop on projects other than Maple syrup projects. The care giver allowed me to realize that I now only need to assist Cheryl 20 hours a day. Not complaining here but after 3 years I was getting worn down. So what does a guy do when it turns to spring? Well you start looking for old truck projects. Ok at least that is what I have done for years. I have bought 1 out of eight I have looked at or drooled on. Couple weeks ago I see on and hit the buy it now button! Very strange for me to take a risk on a expensive to me toy. So I said I am buying this for Cheryl, That made it ok in my mind. It's being loaded up in Kentucky tomorrow morning heading north. 1966 F100: This is a reto-mod. My first hot rod. Lot to learn so I am on a FTE (Ford truck Enthusiast) forum to get information on the basics of these trucks. This has a fresh 351W crate engine and rebuilt Auto with overdrive. Power steering, Power disc brakes up front. Wide tires in rear. 1951 Ford car hubcaps. Refreshed interior, headliner seat and dash. color is Caribbean turquoise. The issue is I am going to run out of room in the shop soon! Some crusty areas are free: All pictures are from the seller: Keeping my expectations pretty low. Regards, Chris and Cheryl
