I need a power steering pump for a backhoe. Part #228684 I’m am looking for information on how to track one down? Any ideas? I can’t seem to find much online, but maybe I’m looking in the wrong places. Thank you for any help!

Yes, I believe it is the same tractor. I was told it needs a new pump and I was trying to help by tracking one down. I obviously don’t know much about this tractor. I need something for use around my property and developing it. Power steering is big for me, because I will need the front loader a lot. With the bucket full of dirt/gravel I’m afraid I can’t maneuver. So, I want to help.

It makes a difference if it is a diesel or gas tractor. A diesel has the pump mounted on the back of the generator like the D17 diesels.
Search for 70228684 the new PN. I did and found;
which is a gas PS pump. Site says it replaces 70240101, 70234026, 70257739
