I thought I would pull the shift cover off my D19 and see how bad the gears are worn if any. Doing a rebuild on the motor and while that was in the shop I thought I would take a look. Dose anyone have any suggestions on getting the gears lined up with the shift forks? I have a manual but its not much help. I had it in neutral when removed.Thank you for any information.

Alvin M I feel I owe you a beer or something. Thanks for the help. I spent too long before I admitted defeat. Took longer to get to the shop than it took to get it back together after reading your post. Goes to show a guy how much knowledge is on this forum if one is willing to ask. Thanks again.
