I am considering purchasing a Chinese PTO backhoe for my D10.  Has anyone done this?  What are the pitfalls of using the D10 with a 3 point PTO backhoe?

In my opinion its to light to be more than a toy. We have a 28,000 lb jd 410b and its to light. Power isnt a problem hydraulics just move slower but having wieght to dig anything hard makes a huge differance.ill admit im usually digging rocks in the over 4' size and have to dig and roll some out of the hole because i cant pick them up.

I think you might be short on tractor. Last one I saw being used was on a d15 and it really was a load for it. Good luck.

I put a B500 Vermeeer backhoe attachment on my D12 . PTO drive hyd. pump and built my own sub frame . I have owned many full sized hoe's and it is NOT . It still shocked me on what it would do. Only issue so far is light in front end . Strapped weights on front axle and solved that prob . I am looking for front wheel weights now and remove temp ballist . A whole lot better than a shovel and was fun to fabricate .
