    I am looking at a International TD 14A because I cannot find a AC close here.   Has anyone on here owned or used one. How are they? Just needing to clean up some land. How hard is it to free up a cutting clutch? Thanks for any info.

 They are tuff old beasts, just prone to cracking heads when shut off hot or been worked hard on lean fuel.

If you have a chance to post on the Red Power forum under construction equipment they can answer your questions too. Yes if its steering clutches, it could be a issue. I am not familiar with that model.

I grew up on Internationals, that is why I have Allis Chalmers. I always referred to them as 13 letter SOBs. The TD 14 steering clutch extraction requires removing everything on the deck to the master clutch including the transmission cover, you will find tapered bolts that fit in tapered holes for the deck alignment, if it is a 141 series that has power steering, you are in for a treat. Be careful to mark the brake drum to the driven flange because the bolt holes are clocked and will only go one way, if you don't swear now you will about the time you have to put the brake bands back in, should you buy the tractor PM me and I will help all I can, there are a few tricks. Tad
