They predicted we would get 4 to 8" of snow with a good 6" across most of the metro.  I want to get the skidsteer out and push snow but I could run till midnight and not get a bucket full.  They made it sound like the snow of the century was going to hit, guess they can still say it's the biggest snow of the decade.

We had 61 yesterday afternoon, by last night over three inches of rain fell, MO River is 10' higher than 12 hours ago. This morning got on my tractor and repaired the driveway washout, used up the last roughly two cu yds of inch minus I had on had, one cut was 8-12" wide and at lest as deep ran thirty feet thru a terrace head on the drive. Used a rock rake to recover what could, like to froze my arse off doing the work open station 180. By time was done rock all gone cuts all filled the rain on the deck at the house was froze, hour later drive at garage was froze and snowing its butt off.
