Howdy!
New here to the forums, so I'll say in advance, thanks for any help! So I recently got this Allis Chalmers 5030 and it has a PTO problem. When I put the PTO in drive, it will spin, but if you put any load on it at all (even a hand wrench) it will stop spinning. I think the overrunning clutch/bearing is toast. Is there an easy way to lock or weld it up and have an external one? Or do I need to take the entire transmission apart and everything? I would really like to avoid doing that if at all possible. Tractor itself runs and drives awesome. Thanks again! |
