While working at our church's Thrift Shop today, I had the painful experience of selling an Allis Chalmers LP record. It appeared to be all about the One-Ninety series tractors. I tried to shame the man into letting me have it and he wavered, but didn't give in. I had never seen an Allis Chalmers record and it really hurt to have it in my hands and have to let it go.

They were for radio commercials back in the day. If you could have looked inside the jacket, you might have seen the script the radio announcer would have used. They pop up on eBay once in a while.

cwhit, Thanks for the explanation. I saw the list of cuts and it looked like a promotional piece of some kind.

I have 2 of those Loretta Lynn LP's and one 8-Track that I should stop using all the time.  The LP's are like new, but the 8-track players like to eat up tapes.  Especially the ones you really want to keep!!
