I present the word of the day

pretentious
used in a sentence:
pretentious, When I was nine I was pretentious.
pretentious
I am still confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Ps 27

Well, we didn't have short buses, we did have a station wagon for the really 'special' ones, but I didn't qualify for that.
But I did just skate by in the lower half of the class

     I don't have that huge of a vocabulary but we had a teacher in grade school that would have us hunt through the dictionary for different types of words. Never realized at the time how much we were exposed to during those exercises. Wish kids now days had instruction like that.

well, all seriousness aside, I do like to expand my vocabulary, not to show off, but to keep the knoggon working. I was blessed to have a teacher in high school that stressed expanding ones vocabulary. I thought it was foolish then, but see the benefits of it now, and the internet makes it a lot easier. but I still cant spell worth a hoot

Lou-  Today's lesson, is to conjugate the verb "to be" in Jive:

I be.
He Be.
She Be.
We Be.
They Is.
Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.
