My machinist cut the groove for the fire ring in the sleeves .058" deep and blue print said .030-.032" deep for .105 fire rings.  So I have no crush on my fire ring. any band aid ideas or are 6 new liners  headed to the scrap bin ?

Did he have the blueprints?  Sounds like he owes you 6 new liners.  Or fire rings that will work.

I had this same thing happen years ago. I was told to use sleeves shims under the fire ring to take up the room. It worked I believe there are 2 thickness and one was still available. An old allis dearer would know or Doc
