Hi,  I'm new here and looking for some guidance.  My grandfather used to farm back in the 50's-70's.  He had an Allis-Chalmers tractor that he sold in the 80's.  I would have loved to get my hands on it but being a teen living in the suburbs at the time, it didn't happen.  Recently my grandparents passed away and we are going through everything.  We have some Allis implements in a barn that I would like to hang on to but they seem that they may only mate up to a CA model from what I have seen online.  I have attached some pics and any guidance you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.  There is what I think is a cultivator, harrow and sickle mower.  Now that I am much older with some free time, I would love to get these pieces back to work, they appear to be in fantastic shape considering they have been sitting for over 40 years.  Thanks for any insight!!

The cultivator is for a CA and maybe a D-10. The harrow is part of the cultivator, it clears out the center of the rows behind the tractor. The mower may attach to different tractors of that era depending on the mounting brackets.
Thanks & God Bless

That's a #3 mower with the hydraulic lift option.
The original rubber tired wheel has been replaced by a steel one.
I don't see any mounting brackets in the pile so I can't say for sure
what tractor it was for but it appears that it has the hydraulic hose
extension which enables the use of the B or C tractor's rocker shaft
cylinder down on the mower frame.

The working parts of implements weren't (e.g. ground contracting parts) proprietary, but Allis Chalmers used a unique snap coupler hitch but offered hitches that fit other tractor band. Like three point hitches, at least for plows.

WELCOME to the forum!!!

It's really hard to tell from the pics you have, what these are for.  I agree though that the cultivators/harrow will fit the CA and I don't know about the D-10 as I never owned one.  These pieces are getting hard to find as CA stuff is always in demand.

The #3 will fit all kinds of stuff, as Brian said.  It all depends......

You need to go through all the stuff and ANYTHING you find with a little Orange paint on it, set it aside and take pics of it and put em on here.  Somebody will know what they fit.

Too bad you're too far away for me to help.  For me, it's hard to tell from a picture, but there are others on here who EAGLE eyes!!  It'll surprise you.

Thank you all for the replies! I hope to find some paperwork for the missing tractor as we go through boxes upon boxes of stuff. I would love to track down the tractor grandpa had and put the pieces of our puzzle back together.

Exactly! There are brackets that mount to the tractor for the cultivator on the CA. Front pedestal, torque tube depth control levers and brackets for the rear axle to mount the track scratchers on back. Many times, these are all left on the tractor and it gets sold that way, only to leave behind a perfectly good cultivator, with no way to mount it.
