Don't "punish" her too much or it may come back to bite you... on the other hand it is nice to be able to make a point.

Man I hate pulling the hair wads out of the drain. The wife and both girls have long hair. Makes the wife puke to pull them out so I pull them out and put them on a paper towel then hand them to her to throw away. She goes through the house gagging

Next trip to wally world get you a Zip It . Long skinny plastic strip with barbs on each side . Wiggle it down the tub or bathroom sink openings and the hair and gunk will come out with it . Great invention , hurry up and get on this . Clogged drains do not get better with age.

John what do you think of Bio-Clean, I know you and a mason jar of gold is much faster on a neglected line. I'm thinking more gunk build up removal maintenance, the stuff is spendy out right but should last quite awhile.

Ditto on the ZipIt... and pour a cup of bleach into the trap for a few hours, it totally destroys hair (kinda hard on the pipes, too).

My punishment for my daughter, is the shop vac.  Momma got mad at me for chewing her hide about all the band-aids I find in the shower, so when it got plugged up, I made HER suck the crap out with shop-vac.  She found 12 used band-aids stuck in the trap.

Uh-huh.  That's why Dad gets so pissed about Band Aids.  If you can't take them off and throw them in the trash can, then just stand there and BLEED.  Angry

(I don't care what the Bible says:  PLUMBING is the ROOT OF ALL EVIL).
Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

Be careful with the vac. I know of a guy that used one on a drain that he had poured drain cleaner down. The drain cleaner fumes came out the vac exhaust air he passed out. Someone found him and dragged him out.
