I saw on the news this morning that Motorola is bringing back the Razor flip phone as a smart phone. You can have a smart flip phone for about $1500.00. They said it may be available in February. Would you get one and let us know if it works good?

You know we all survived just fine before cell phones came along. I for one can do without one and feel the roads would be safer too.

Took my wife to the hospital to get here back worked on Tuesday. Sat in the waiting room with about 10 other people. Young and old and all had there face and fingers buried in a cell phone. Surprised there neck don't hurt. I read National Geographic. Had to get a prescription after and asked the nurse where the closest Walgreens was. Well I'm not sure, looked it up but didn't know exactly where it was. Can you use your phone GPS? Um No. Write it down for me if you would please.

I've had a flip phone for a few years now and most times it's off or I don't know where it is!! Get along just fine without it and my "GPS" folds up and fits real nice in the door pocket in my truck!! LOL

No wonder I hang out with you all. I go to some place I know I have to sit and wait, I take book or a magazine from home. Everybody else has there smart phone a wiggling there thrum.
If I was to turn my phone on and it rang, probably scare me. I always say my phone is for me to bother you, not for you to bother me.

Back when all this cell phone crap started I had a $25 what I called a shoe phone. About as big as a shoe, only cost $10 a month. Couldn't text or anything. Carried it around in a plastic Walmart bag. Whatever vehicle I was in I would grab 'my bag'. I just carried it in case I broke down somewhere. Me and the youngest boy went fishing and were coming home and had the phone charging and sitting on the dash. Started hearing this weird noise. Turned the radio and AC off. I said "Lucas what the hell is that".......Really Dad....It's your phone. Bout had to stop the truck to answer it.

Oh the good old days of a party line on the first cell phone,I guess really a radio phone.
Back in 79 BTO's step son went in the custom harvesting business with a new MH2. I started drive the 75 MH the stepson had run.Over 90% of the grain we cut was sold out of the field in double hopper trailers. With are dry summers much more relaxed harvest than most of you are use to seeing. But still have to keep that machine moving to make money. Had to call for more trailer, not to early as truckers did like that, but not to late so we had to sit and wait. The stepson was the first person I knew to have a mobile phone. But it was a party line, I guess open radio frequency. Anybody else in the system could hear you if they had theirs turned on. Added more interesting things to lesson to than just a AM/FM, for a guy sitting in a combine 12 to 18 hours a day. BTO never got cell phone so made for interesting times trying to get trucks at the right time. But we still got a lot of grain cut.
