Can't remember who it was, but it seems I recall, someone on here knew some of the band members personally. I've been listening to them for years. First heard them on Sirius/XM Outlaw country. Around here they have been getting a fair amount of air time on FM radio. To look at them you'd swear they were a hard rock band, but Charlie Starr croon a smooth ballad. And their video of ' Good One Coming On' always makes me chuckle.
They're not everyone's kinda music, but if you like some of the old Southern rock, definitely worth the listen. |

I listen to them on 101.3 the outlaw. I have most of their CD’s I’ve seen them twice and got to meet and spend some time with them after a show in Salina KS. I told a couple jokes and the drummer wanted me to go on the road with them. He told the keyboard player that I was a real live country boy.

We went to see Cody Jinks a couple months back. It was a very good show. I hope to see Frank Foster next. I like the outlaw stuff and don’t care much for mainstream country anymore.

Same her Thad. I like the new outlaw country. Mainstream country has gotten to be Pop music.
Drive by Truckers, BlackBerry Smoke, Reckless Kelly, Alejandro Escovido, Steve Earle and anyone that can mix a little rasp in their voice with a little twang, is what I like. |
