This 1981 Kansas AC dealer list is courtesy of Bryan Pauley..This list is actually longer than I thought it would be...Gleaner combines were very popular in Kansas...AC had no big wheatland tractor for years which probably hurt tractor sales in western Kansas..It also shows Colorado having 15 dealers..

I remember seeing ads for a lot of those dealers in the High Plains Journal and the Colorado Rancher and Farmer.  I'm not sure if even two of the dealers listed in Colo are still in business.  A few of the KS ones are still there, with some others that took on AGCO/Gleaner.

Thanks for sharing that! Meinhardt in Wamego operates under the name Kanequip now, but Jim Meinhardt has a museum and buys and sells older allis and other equipment right next to the Wamego Store. Lott Implement in Minneapolis is still in business and is still a awesome source for allis parts and they are very helpful. Jeff Lott told us he is an independent dealer.  Schmidt and sons is still agco in Mt Hope. Buchman farm supply is still in Alta Vista but i don't think they sell equipment anymore. That's the few i know around still going, by no means i know all of them lol.

190XT, 185, D15 SII, 7040 is living again, 7010 retired for parts.

Shuck Implement might have succeeded McConnell in Lawrence, Ks.  Not sure of the timing.  The last I knew Shuck was still a good source for AC parts and they are still AGCO/MF. Appear to be small so who knows how long they can hang on.
