I know some parts on the D19 and the 190 are the same. On a gas D19 My father is looking for a wire harness, would a wire harness from a 190 work on the D19? And does it need to be from a 190 gas or would a wire harness from a 190 diesel work?

Nope.  190 has electric gauges and an alternator where D19 has mechanical gauges and a generator.  Wiring harness would be a couple of miles too long as well.

Denis Colbenson advertises in the Old Allis News and I have bought some from him.  Very happy with his work.  Very good quality.  I believe he does make for the D19 as well.

Steve at B&B circuits should be able to fix you up.

Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

Thank you all for your advice, we ended up getting a new wire harness based on your suggestions. I’m not a farmer or a mechanic but I know enough to be dangerous.
