 Yes I know, it's laughable. I was in the checkout line at TSC today and saw these tiny tractors. I noticed some of them were orange, so I picked one up. It's not a very good replica, but what can I say, it was a stupid impulse buy. I was surprised they had ACs at all. Why are D19s one of the most common AC toys? I don't know about the rest of the country, but around here D17s are far more common than the D19.

I'm going to have to check to see if I have one. Not to many D19's here either. They might have been more popular if they could have had the same valve stack as a D17 series IV.

when I bought my 7010 new in 1980, it went thru the dealer check list, and when I went to pick it up, there was a AC cap on the dash and a 1/16th and 1/64th scale tractor on the seat. that is what started my collection.

Yes I spotted those at TSC a couple weeks ago, so picked up two of them.
Pretty rare to spot Allis miniatures like that, among all the other brands.

The reason for so few Allis toys the last couple of years had to do with the company that owns the Allis Chalmers name. They have no connection to agriculture and it took a few years for Ertl/Tomy toys to work out a license agreement to build them. The reason the D19 is chosen so often is because it was the first turbo charged tractor. Ertl did just produce a nice D17 narrow front for the National Farm toy museum last fall. It is an early model with narrow front in 1/16 scale with great decal. I collect mainly green toys and have not bought any for a long time but that Allis impressed me so one came along home. Tom

It's sad. Went to the local farm toy show last year and bought every single Allis 1/64th they had. A D19 and a 7580.
This year, went to do it again. All they had was a D19 and a 7580.
Time to start in on the 1/16th stuff, I guess.

I bought a D19 today. The store had one more and a 7580 toy. They were laying onthe bottom shelf. So I picked them up and hung them in front of some John Deere toys. I wouldn't be surprised if I was asked not to shop there anymore.

My first was a 190XT. All 3 boys got one at Christmas. That was around 1970. Unfortunately we played with them hard, but they brought us so many good memories playing in the garden. I looked for them this year but did not find them at mom/dads. So I bought a 1/16th scale D-19 gas,D19 diesel. Also a 220 but that haven’t arrived yet.
