292 Combine motor is a GM engine.  I presume you are looking for an Allis engine, in this case the 301 would be your only possibility for a gasser.

There is a 190 for sale privately . It's 414 proven winner roller cam Aircraft carburetor all the best stuff. Think 18.4x38s. It pulled naturally aspirated modified stock class. 7000 or 7500 would sale just the motor I'm sure

180 would be a great candidate for the class, build a 301 up. They can go well over 500 ci if you want to go that big. 415 gas would be a very reliable strong settup. Mesage me if you like , I've built them at 410, 450 and 526

Yes many Gleaner combines used a GM engine in later years.  Getting it to fit in a 180 or 185 frame would take some creativity...

Here's a thought if you can use a combine motor from a gleaner in a Ac tractor and say it's ok per your rules then put a 350 chevy in it and say it came off a m or l gas combine
You can wash the dirt off the body but you can’t wash the farmer out of the heart and soul
