    Posted: 15 Feb 2016 at 7:16pm
Well, I was blowing snow during that last big snow storm and I blew up the bevel gear box on my 1963 Allis Chalmers B10.
I didn't destroy the case, the ball bearing race disintegrated, the balls were still in there, but only half a race, and the needle bearing and seal were gone, several teeth broke off of both bevel gears.
I believe the keyway in the yoke is toast too, because it just fell off and the key was more of a triangle than a square.
So I am looking for an entire bevel gear box part number 154062 with shafts, bearings, bevel gears, keys and seals OR just the bevel gears, ball bearing, driving shaft needle bearing and seal and a yoke.
I also bent the PTO pulley trying to get it off with a puller.
Apparently I need a different tool.
Here are some sad pix:

Notice how the race split in half and then broke into 3 pieces.
Chewed up the bevel gear teeth bad.
The balls are still there but the race is broken.
This is the box I need 154062...... OR.... just the parts below.
Can anyone help me out?

The gears can be found on eBay.  I think there is a set of two up there now.  The bearings should be easy to find.  Just go to a good parts store with the Simplicity numbers and they should be able to cross them.
