a friend gave me an engine to sell for him.  Well most of an engine.  It's a 5.25" stroke crank, Chrystler industrial rods, JE forged 4.44 bore pistons.  THe pistons are like new, very little time on them, the bores in the block are excellent.  The block is line bored so theres no shims under the caps.  It's a WC or WD block with the cover on the side over the lifters/push rods.

The one problem is that there is a crack in the block, down on the bottom by the bottom web where it would freeze and crack.  It never spread when he was pulling and the block is partailly filled inside the water jacket around the sleeves.  It won't leak water, I don't beleve it  will ever be an issue.  I'm just saying its cracked so I'm not mis representing anything.

There was one rod missing, I got a set of rods so I or someone would have to bore the pin end to accept a .990" wrist pin and hone it, balance the rod to match the other 3 with the engine.  I have a little crank work to do sometime on it and will have it ground and ready with new bearings.

I have a camshaft that would work good for it in lower RPM type pulling, 210* intake duration @ .050 and 195*@.050 on the exhaust. with a 106* lobe seperation angle.  It would be a good match for this engine for lower RPM paced class pulling.

He doesn't want much for the engine, Ive got to do some crank work and get it ground.  But were not looking at a pile of money for the thing, about $1500 buys the short block assembly with all the parts and you'd have a good little 325 cid engine if you want to work a bit.  It's not complete, you'd have some hardware and some core parts needed to assemble a complete engine, but nothing that can't get robbed off a junk engine.

I simply am selling it for him, its a deal for what it is for the guy that wants to build his own engine.  Parts have been sitting around here to long and I just haven't taken time to advertise it or try to move it.  It usually involves me working over a carbuerator, manifold and cylinder head, rounding up core parts, etc.  Degreeing a cam, etc and I just don't have time to mess with those things as I'm to far behind in the shop.  I have a few hours to package it up and get it out of here.
