I would like to replace the Power Steering Pump Intake hose - Its hard as a rock.  Can I use any "Thick Walled" hose - like auto heater hose for this?  I figure with the standard type clamps on it, it can't be high pressure.

Oil resistant hose would be best, but heater hose will probably work until it gets soft, which should be years away.
