Using AdBlocker -
Switched to WIN 11 as went to do taxes and found out INTUIT 2025 (26)version only runs on WIN 11
Then WIN 11 is like a sales force for everything Microsoft - link to phone , cloud storage , EDGE , special on MS Office so i can use everywhere .
Seems new unit is one of the small 6" x 6" x2" cubes  GMKtec mini desk top 1TB solid state storage
Problem so far is every bit of text is almost to small to read - even after enlarging to 150%
Will keep WIN 10 running on main desktop - WIN 11 SUCKS

I switched to 11 because my old desktop was starting to fail, and figured it was time to update before it crashed. The MS subscription didn't bother me much as I already had one. I don't like the new computer though, it is slow. I am looking for another one, and will stick with 11. It doesn't seem to have the frequent updates that 10 did.

Mandated at work to switch to Win 11. There’s definitely things that suck. No choice in the matter. More / less used to it by now.

But…….

Makes me sooooooooo glad I went MAC at home. The thought hasn’t crossed my mind in several years.

i bought a new computer a year ago and it came with WIN 11... I had already looked on You Tube and there were several videos on how to TURN OFF the Microsoft BS, EDGE, OUTLOOK , CLOUD and all the sales BS..... I did that and now it works GREAT.... I left on the auto update, just for WIN 11.. They send it once a month and keeps everything up to date.. MINUS all the BS that i have turned OFF Permanently.... i would not even know about the updates if i didnt LOOK at my SETTINGS ICON to see what happens.

my E-mail is Gmail and i use CHROME for the internet.. Never have problem one... again, i got most of the BS turned OFF..

same as Coke, needed 11 to do taxes, paid $128 for a 'thinkcenter'. put Mozilla Firefox on it, got rid of Edge,CLOUD access, etc.

It works.... but will ONLY use it to do the taxes.

My Win10 runs GREAT, emails, forums, ordering, surfing . I still have a machine running Win98SE as NO newer OS can do what it does.
