Ok so my buddy has a 180 I’m not sure the year I’d say 68 and parked it in the barn last fall went to fired up about two weeks ago and it won’t move at all. I’m kind of stunned because I would think before the torque goes out it would at least work on one side before it completely goes out. When you put it in gear and put it on the low side or high side jumps a little bit but won’t move clutch and everything feels solid from what I can tell but I’m just stunned how in three months it won’t move at all when it drove perfectly fine all last year. Is there any kind of valve in the transmission that could be stuck because that’s what’s in my head and I’m thinking it’s got to be some kind a hydraulic valve Thanks guys

You don't have any power steering, right ?? The hydraulic pump has lost its prime.

the power director clutches are operated by Hyd pressure. make sure the Hyd oil is full if it is and you don't have steering Ive loosened the line coming out of the pump and started the tractor after less than a minute I had a steady stream of fluid coming out shut the tractor down retighten the line. start the tractor back up and rotate the steering wheel till it operates smooth. when I got my 190 the lift rams were all the way up. and it wouldn't move I let the arms down while running and it forced enough fluid back into the system that I could steer it to get it on the trailer.

If pump has lost prime like Dr. said, replace front seal in pump after you get it going. MACK

Thanks again for the great info. Confirmed last night that there was no steering and that the lift arms won’t come up. So I’m going to start there at priming the pump. I feel so stupid I didn’t notice that. But the only stupid question is one not asked. I’ll let you know how it goes
